Blu-ray Review: The Lost World

Flicker Alley has released the long lost 1925 classic, The Lost World, on a beautiful deluxe Blu-ray edition.

One of the first silent “creature features” ever made, Harry O. Hoyt’s adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s novel paved the way for the iconic Hollywood film, King Kong

This Blu-ray features a new score from composer, Robert Isreal, and contains several other special features, including an audio commentary from film historian, Nicolas Ciccone; deleted scenes, three short films, an image gallery, and a booklet essay.

This would make a worthy addition to any serious film lover’s collection.
